Bulkeley Bridge Aesthetic Lighting
Project Details
This project consisted of installation of aesthetic lighting on the historic Bulkeley Bridge. The purpose of this project was to highlight the stone masonry and history of the Bulkeley Bridge. The existing lighting on the bridge was no longer working, and was needing replacement with newer, updated lighting system.
The major challenge of this project was gaining access to the sides of the bridge for the removal of the existing lights and installation of the new lights. Rather than requiring nightly lane closures and a snooper truck for access, we installed platforms on the face of the bridge which did not require any lane closures or impact to traffic.
